Anonymous: okay, im not sure if this question will come off as arrogant or not, but i dont mean for it to. personally, i dont believe in the nature vs. nurture theory- i believe that i like the d because i do and you like the v cause you do, and that's just how it is. but after having read that you have two moms, do you believe in the nature vs nurture theory? or did it just make your life a lot easier when you realized your true self? again, not trying to be ignorant, just curious (:
oooh i like this question. I don’t think it applies in a situation like this.. I’ve had people tell me that they think I’m gay because it’s how I was raised, and I’ve even been told that it’s because I’m brainwashed. I won’t deny that having two moms definitely affected me but it was more just that it made me so much more open to things. so when I did finally realize that I’m gay it made it a hell of a lot easier to come to terms with it :)

my parents are convinced that my friends ‘brainwashed’ me. it’s really hard not having a supportive family. You’re a very lucky girl.
